Viejas Historias

Este cuadro relata la historia de mis antepasados cuando

partieron de las tierras Vascas buscando nuevos horizontes en

América.

El cielo se presenta más claro hacia adelante representando la

esperanza.

Detrás quedan las montañas con los pueblos amados.

Tanto en el barco como en las casas que quedan atrás pueden

verse los colores de las banderas ondeando al viento.

El barco se encuentra sintetizado, pero también representa

esquemáticamente a un corazón, con su tabique central y las

aurículas y ventrículos, esto se debe a que es el corazón y los

profundos sentimientos los que se llevan a tierras nuevas y se

transmitirán de generación en generación como un legado

fundamental.

This painting tells the story of my ancestors when

left the Basque lands looking for new horizons in

America.

The sky appears clearer forward, representing the

hope.

Behind are the mountains with the beloved peoples.

Both in the boat and in the houses that are left behind ca

see the colors of the flags waving in the wind.

The ship is synthesized, but it also represents

schematically to a heart, with its central septum and

atria and ventricles, this is because it is the heart and the

deep feelings which are taken to new lands and

will be passed down from generation to generation as a legacy

fundamental.
