ARTISTAS DEL MUNDO - CUBA

Hoy en la sección "Artistas del mundo" viajaremos a la Habana , Cuba, a conocer al artista Adalberto Arteaga Fernández. Desde muy joven se inició en las artes plásticas. Es un artista autodidacta que ha participado de muestras individuales y colectivas.

1. ¿Cómo nace su interés por el arte?

Bueno, desde niño tuve esa inclinación por el arte, sobre todo en la pintura, me sentía muy bien al hacer esa actividad, dibujando todo lo que me resultara interesante y también lo que me viniera de mi imaginación y así fui creciendo con ese interés por las artes plásticas.

2. ¿Quiénes son tus referentes artísticos?

Mis referencia artística que han ayudado a consolidar mi obra de un inicio fue la pintura rusa, empecé observando y estudiando libros de pintura de ese país, estudié mucho la época del renacimiento con sus tres geniales maestro, DaVinci, Miguel Ángel y Rafael, más adelante me influenció Dalí por sus temas surrealistas y Caraballo por su manejo de las luces y sombras y en la actualidad tengo referencia de todo lo que me nutra y encuentre importante para mí obra.

3. ¿Cuál es tu obra preferida artística?

Para mí las pinturas de la Capilla Sixtina ejecutada magistralmente por Miguel Ángel, es algo asombroso, el cual quisiera visitar algún día.

4. ¿Cómo ha influido la pandemia en tus creaciones?

La pandemia a pesar de todo lo malo que ha podido ser, en mis creaciones ha influido de una forma positiva, el haber tenido todo este tiempo en cuarentena con muchos temores y de una total incertidumbre, he logrado canalizarlo otra vez de mis pinturas, haciendo creaciones que en otro tiempo no hubiese podido hacer.

5. ¿Qué te inspira?

Me inspira todo lo que esté al alcance de mi vista y de mi imaginación, la naturaleza, las personas, los elementos que me parecen interesantes, pero sobre todo la situación en que me encuentre, lo que me rodea, para poder dar un mensaje en la obra.

6. ¿Contamos tus proyectos para el 2021?

Mis proyectos para el 2021 no los veo claros hasta tanto no se normalice la situación con la pandemia, por lo pronto es seguir trabajando y creando.

7. Contanos un poco de las obras que vemos

Mis obras son un reflejo de mi realidad, de la forma en que he llegado a concebir el entorno en que me encuentro, muy marcado por la pandemia y otras problemáticas con los que tengo que vivir a diario, disfrazándose en una técnica realista y a veces con toque de impresionismo abstracto.

1. How did your interest in art begin?

Well, since I was a child I had that inclination for art, especially in painting, I felt very good doing that activity, drawing everything that was interesting to me and also what came from my imagination and so I grew with that interest in the plastic arts.

2. Who are your artistic references?

My artistic reference that has helped to consolidate my work from the beginning was Russian painting, I began by observing and studying painting books from that country, I studied the Renaissance a lot with its three great teachers, DaVinci, Miguel Ángel and Rafael, later Dalí influenced me for his surrealist themes and Caraballo for his handling of light and shadow and today I have reference to everything that nourishes me and finds important for my work.

3. What is your favorite artistic work?

For me the paintings of the Sistine Chapel masterfully executed by Michelangelo, is something amazing, which I would like to visit one day.

4. How has the pandemic influenced your creations?

The pandemic, despite how bad it could be, has had a positive influence on my creations, having had all this time in quarantine with many fears and total uncertainty, I have managed to channel it again from my paintings, doing creations that in another time could not have made.

5. What inspires you?

I am inspired by everything that is within the reach of my sight and my imagination, nature, people, the elements that seem interesting to me, but above all the situation in which I find myself, what surrounds me, to be able to give a message in the work.

6. Do we count your projects for 2021?

My projects for 2021 are not clear to me until the situation with the pandemic is normalized, for now it is to continue working and creating.

7. Tell us a little about the works we see

My works are a reflection of my reality, of the way in which I have come to conceive the environment in which I find myself, very marked by the pandemic and other problems with which I have to live daily, disguising myself in a realistic technique and sometimes with hint of abstract impressionism.
