SILVANA ORCESE EXPONE EN LA CASA DE LA CULTURA

Silvana expone sus hermosas obras en la casa de la cultura de Fuengirola

Actualmente y hasta el 10 de Septiembre  se puede ver la muestra de  Silvana Orcese en el sala de exposición de la casa de la Cultura de Fuengirola, de lunes a viernes de 9 a 14hs, la entrada a ella es gratuita 

Nació en Argentina, pero ha vivido en diversas partes del mundo entre las que se encuentra  Escandinavia y el Mediterráneo, Málaga donde reside hace mas de 20 años

La artista trabaja en diversas técnicas, texturas, collages y la fotografía, que se pueden apreciar en las obras expuestas, como así también uso de la técnica encáustica. 

¿Como nace tu interés por el arte?

No hay un momento concreto, siempre me veo de pequeña con lapices y pinceles, dibujando, hasta que en mi adolescencia estudié diseño publicitario en mi país. Ya luego me apunté y sigo participando en talleres relacionados al arte en diferentes técnicas.

¿Qué factores marcaron tu camino?

Soy muy curiosa y mi estilo de vida en constantes viajes por diferentes países y culturas me han ido influenciando, no tengo un camino marcado, me permito ir cambiando e investigando lo que me inspire en el proceso creativo.

¿Como ha influido la pandemia en tus creaciones? 

La pandemia me ha influenciado mucho y en positivo, en cuanto al arte se refiere; es mi percepción; siento que he avanzado, me he permitido hacer muchas cosas nuevas e incursiones en mis obras, que aunque siempre he sido muy curiosa buscando nuevas técnicas, esta vez he tenido todo el tiempo del mundo para probar, acertar, equivocarme y crear nuevas obras; algunas con buenos resultados y otras no tanto, pero todo suma; lamentablemente al estar confinados, y no poder viajar, he estado en mi pequeño Taller 23; muchas horas diarias, dedicándome al arte al 100%, y en mi casa mi cabeza sólo pensaba en arte, supongo es una manera de defensa o intentar hacer mi burbuja personal por la situación complicada para todos, de echo mi primera exposición individual en pandemia se llamó Resiliencia ( capacidad para adaptarse a situaciones adversas con resultados positivos).

¿Qué te sensibiliza? 

Todo lo que me rodea, pequeños detalles, un color, un olor, la naturaleza, los fenómenos naturales, muchas veces saco fotos de un detalle, una parte de un motor, o parte de un pétalo, de una piedra, y de ahí sale algo seguro.

¿Cual es tu momento del día en el que más cómoda te sentís pintando?

He cambiado, antes pintaba en la noche hasta el amanecer;  hoy día y ya desde hace varios años necesito la luz del día.

Además de la pintura ¿Has trabajado otras artes plásticas?

La fotografía, siempre fue una pasión, hoy la he dejado un poco aparcada, aunque la utilizo en algunas obras de técnica mixta en la actualidad.

En Diseño Publicitario/Gráfico hace muchos años, cuando no existían las nuevas tecnologías de hoy, también el “fileteado porteño” un estilo artístico de Buenos Aires que en 2015 ha sido declarado patrimonio inmaterial de la Humanidad, el collage, la cerámica, etc. Siempre estoy en la búsqueda de nuevas expresiones artísticas, sólo que no todo lo publico, necesito experimentar mucho para luego mostrarlo.

Contanos sobre tus proyectos para este año.

Hice y estoy haciendo muchas exposiciones, aprovechando que no podía viajar, y que tuve mucho apoyo de quienes me cedían espacios expositivos, que es lo más dificil para los artistas, que nos permitan ser visibles con nuestras obras para aquellos que les guste el arte y la cultura; ahora mismo tengo una exposición en la Casa de Cultura de Fuengirola hasta el 10 de septiembre que podéis visitar de lunes a viernes de 09:00hs a 14:00hs.

Mi cabeza nunca para en cuanto al arte se refiere, veo arte en todas partes, todo me inspira y siempre estoy ilusionada con un nuevo proyecto, en septiembre, octubre, y casi todos los meses tengo alguna exposición sea individuales o colectiva, que voy informando en mis redes sociales.

Contanos un poco las obras que estamos viendo.

La mayoría son en técnica encáustica ( grabar a fuego ), una técnica milenaria donde se utiliza cera de abeja natural, pigmentos y se fusiona con fuego, aunque también podéis ver algunos óleos sobre lienzo, y obras con inscrustaciones orgánicas.

 Soy muy ecléctica en mis obras, por mi estilo de vida viajando por trabajo y por placer; de origen argentina, malagueña por adopción y con mucha influencia nórdica por mis más de 20 años guiando en escandinavia, siento que todo ha enriquecido mi identidad social y por ende mis obras.

From September 10 you can see Silvana Orcese's exhibition in the showroom of the Casa de la Cultura in Fuengirola, admission to it is free.

She was born in Argentina, but  she has lived in various parts of the world, including Scandinavia and the Mediterranean, Malaga, where she has lived for more than 20 years.

The artist works with various techniques, textures, collages and photography, which can be seen in the exhibited works, as well as the use of encaustic techniques.

How did your interest in art begin?

There is no specific moment, I always see myself as a child with pencils and brushes, drawing, until in my adolescence I studied advertising design in my country. Then I signed up and I continue to participate in workshops related to art in different techniques.

What factors marked your path?

I am very curious and my lifestyle in constant travel to different countries and cultures has influenced me, I do not have a marked path, I allow myself to change and investigate what inspires me in the creative process.

How has the pandemic influenced your creations?

The pandemic has influenced me a lot and positively, as far as art is concerned; it is my perception; I feel that I have advanced, I have allowed myself to do many new things and forays into my works, that although I have always been very curious looking for new techniques, this time I have had all the time in the world to try, hit, make mistakes and create new works; some with good results and others not so much, but it all adds up; unfortunately being confined, and not being able to travel, I have been in my little Workshop 23; many hours a day, dedicating myself to art 100%, and in my house my head only thought about art, I suppose it is a way of defense or trying to make my personal bubble because of the complicated situation for everyone, in fact my first solo exhibition in pandemic was called Resilience (ability to adapt to adverse situations with positive results).

What sensitizes you?

Everything that surrounds me, small details, a color, a smell, nature, natural phenomena, many times I take photos of a detail, a part of an engine, or part of a petal, of a stone, and from there it comes out Something secure

What is your time of day when you feel most comfortable painting?

I've changed, before I used to paint at night until dawn; today and for several years now I need daylight.

Besides painting, have you worked on other plastic arts?

Photography has always been a passion, today I have left it a little parked, although I use it in some mixed media works today.

In Advertising / Graphic Design many years ago, when the new technologies of today did not exist, also the "fileteado porteño" an artistic style of Buenos Aires that in 2015 has been declared intangible heritage of Humanity, collage, ceramics, etc. I am always in search of new artistic expressions, only that I do not publish everything, I need to experiment a lot to show it later.

Tell us about your projects for this year.

I did and am doing many exhibitions, taking advantage of the fact that I could not travel, and that I had a lot of support from those who gave me exhibition spaces, which is the most difficult thing for artists, allowing us to be visible with our works for those who like art and culture; Right now I have an exhibition at the Casa de Cultura de Fuengirola until September 10 that you can visit from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00.

My head never stops when it comes to art, I see art everywhere, everything inspires me and I am always excited about a new project, in September, October, and almost every month I have an exhibition, be it individual or collective, which I report on. in my social networks.

Tell us a little about the works we are seeing.

Most of them are in encaustic technique (engraving with fire), an ancient technique where natural beeswax, pigments are used and it is fused with fire, although you can also see some oil paintings on canvas, and works with organic inlays.

 I am very eclectic in my works, because of my lifestyle traveling for work and pleasure; Of Argentine origin, Malaga by adoption and with a lot of Nordic influence for my more than 20 years guiding in Scandinavia, I feel that everything has enriched my social identity and therefore my works.
