HOY NOS HABLA DE SU OBRA MARIANA RO

Mi nombre es Mariana Ro artista de Uruguay, soy baja visión, y hoy quiero contarles un poco de mis obras y de esta obra en particular. 

Por lo general mis obras tienen más un impacto físico por lo que trabajó con texturas y altos relieves, su brillo y contraste de alturas todo ello hace que no solo pueda apreciarseles  con la visión, sino también con el tacto. Definitivamente pudiendo  aludirse como un arte inclusivo. En este caso la obra no tiene un título pero si respeta una serie  de obras en vertical.

En esta obra que quiero destacar hoy es alta su mezcla de texturas, y también consta de diferentes alturas de relieve. 

Es un lienzo vertical de una dimensión de 30 x 90, y su verticalidad tiene que ver con la abstracción dónde la observador podrá recorrer desde el centro hacia arriba o del centro hacia abajo apreciando diferentes molduras y contrastes de texturas, los materiales que he usado son muy variados que van desde las mismas pastas qué se utilizan en la construcción de hogares, cómo así también materiales reciclables como cartón, plástico, papel y un toque de sentimentalismo con los crochet de mi abuela. Esta obra se realiza en un periodo de tiempo extenso llevándome entre 15 o 20 días su preparación, en un proceso de composición y pegado de materiales, empastado, sellado, Pulido, para recién comenzar con el último pasó de la pintura y barnizado.

En este caso la obra tiene una mezcla de texturas y diferentes tipos de cartón dónde según su pegado ellos pueden dar diferentes dimensiones de altura, hacen que la obra sea en su conjunto interesante como ya dije no tanto por el sentido de la visión, sino también por el sentido del tacto.

La abstracción hace que igualmente también tenga una composición entonces se busca la armonía no tanto en los colores sino también en las formas, buscando que la pieza quede completamente equilibrada, he utilizado pintura acrílicas, dichos colores son, azul de prusia, azul medianoche, azul metalizado, luz de luna, blanco perlado, glaciar, blanco titanio, algunas de estas pinturas importadas de Estados Unidos, profesionales,  consistentes, de alto brillo, de alta pigmentación, más las pinturas metalizadas, las hojas de oro, así como también la purpurina metálica, todo ello hacen en su conjunto una pieza muy bien acabada.

Al ser un artista baja visión la textura me ha permitido poder expresarme con mucho más soltura, dándome cuenta que los límites están solamente en la mente y qué es impresionante la capacidad de creatividad de cada ser humano.

Hello, I am Mariana Ro, an artist from Uruguay, I am low vision, and today I want to tell you a little about my works and this particular work.

In general, my works have more of a physical impact, which is why he worked with textures and high reliefs, their brightness and contrast of heights all this makes it possible not only to appreciate them with vision, but also with touch. Definitely being able to be referred to as an inclusive art. In this case the work does not have a title but it does respect a series of vertical works.

In this work that I want to highlight today, its mixture of textures is high, and it also consists of different heights of relief.

It is a vertical canvas with a dimension of 30 x 90, and its verticality has to do with abstraction where the observer can travel from the center up or from the center down appreciating different moldings and textural contrasts, the materials I have used are very varied, ranging from the same pastes that are used in the construction of homes, as well as recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic, paper and a touch of sentimentality with my grandmother's crochets. This work is carried out in an extensive period of time, taking me between 15 or 20 days to prepare, in a process of composition and gluing of materials, pasting, sealing, polishing, to just start with the last step of painting and varnishing.

In this case, the work has a mixture of textures and different types of cardboard where, depending on their gluing, they can give different dimensions of height, they make the work as a whole interesting as I already said, not so much for the sense of vision, but also by the sense of touch.

The abstraction also makes it have a composition so harmony is sought not so much in the colors but also in the forms, seeking that the piece is completely balanced, I have used acrylic paints, these colors are Prussian blue, midnight blue, blue metallic, moonlight, pearl white, glacier, titanium white, some of these professional, consistent, high gloss, high pigmentation US imported paints, plus the metallic paints, gold foil, as well as glitter metal, all of this together make a very well finished piece.

Being a low vision artist, texture has allowed me to express myself with much more fluency, realizing that the limits are only in the mind and that the creativity capacity of each human being is impressive.
