Joan miro, un 20 de Abril de 1893 nació este artista en Barcelona. Pintor, escultor, grabador y ceramista español. Durante sus primeros años trabajó dependiente en una droguería, hasta que una enfermedad le llevo durante un tiempo a quedarse con una familia en un pequeño pueblo de Mont – roig del camp.

En su obra reflejó su interés en el subconsciente, en lo "infantil" y en su país. En sus comienzo mostró fuertes interés fauves, cubistas y expresionistas, pasando a una pintura plana con cierto aire naïf. Estuvo autoexiliado en Normandía mientras  guerra civil azotaba España. En 1975 crea la Fundación Joan Miró, cuya sede de Barcelona, realizada por Josep Luis Sert, es el edificio más emblemático del racionalismo catalán. El propósito de la Fundación que fundo, que cobija la mayoría de su obra, es divulgar las nuevas tendencias del arte contemporáneo. Murió en Palma de Mallorca, en 1983.

Joan Miro, on April 20, 1893, this artist was born in Barcelona. Spanish painter, sculptor, engraver and ceramicist. During his early years he worked as a clerk in a drugstore, until an illness led him to stay with a family in a small town in Mont-roig del Camp for a while.

In 1975 he created the Joan Miró Foundation, whose headquarters in Barcelona, ​​designed by Josep Luis Sert, is the most emblematic building of Catalan rationalism.
