Artistas olvidadas por la historia

Hilma af Klint fue la primera artista mujer en incursionar en la abstracción muchos años antes que esta vanguardia se gestara. 

Se la considera una artista  visionaria para su epoca,  con sus obras tan creativas precedieron a artistas importantísimos como Kandinsky, Delaunay o Mondrian.

Hilma muere en el octubre de 1944, en Suecia. Sus obras nunca fueron expuesto en vida, fue su voluntad que se mostrara veinte años posterior a su fallecimiento, ya que creía que su obra no iba a ser comprendida por el publico. 

Su gran inclinación por lo espiritual la lleva a incursionar en las figuras geométricas, creando lienzos de grandes dimensiones con colores vivos. La visión tan adelantada a su época del arte no figurativo la llevo a ser una avanzada.

Hilma af Klint was the first female artist to venture into abstraction many years before this avant-garde took shape.

She is considered a visionary artist for her time, with her creative works preceding important artists such as Kandinsky, Delaunay or Mondrian.

Hilma died in October 1944, in Sweden. Her works were never exhibited during her lifetime, it was her wish that they be shown twenty years after her death, since she believed that her work would not be understood by the public. Her great inclination for the spiritual leads her to venture into geometric figures, creating large-scale canvases with bright colors. The vision of non-figurative art so far ahead of its time led it to be an advanced one.
