Crepúsculo... El día agoniza.

Poco a poco las sombras

comienzan a cubrir la tierra,

anticipando la noche,

que viene lentamente.

Noche... manto de misterio

transformando en irreal

todo lo que era palpable,

untando formas y colores,

camuflando la naturaleza.

Hoy, me preparo

para mi crepúsculo,

con la esperanza de que,

cuando la noche final

llegue a mi vida-materia,

pueda mi espíritu

estar lleno de luz,

y serenamente aguarde

en la gloria de Dios,

el esplendor del nuevo amanecer!

George Abrão. Nació en Jaguariaíva - Paraná, Brasil, en 1949. Estudió en el Colegio Rio Branco de Curitiba. Actualmente reside en Maringá - PR.

Publicó nueve libros; todavía tiene tres libros inéditos para publicar. Organizó y publicó Antologías de cuentos. Actualmente está organizando una Antología de poemas eróticos.

Twilight... The day is dying.

little by little the shadows

begin to cover the earth

anticipating the night,

that comes slowly

Night... cloak of mystery

transforming into unreal

everything that was tangible,

smearing shapes and colors,

camouflaging nature.

Today, I prepare

for my twilight

in the hope that

when the final night

come to my life-matter,

may my spirit

be full of light,

and serenely wait

in the glory of God,

the splendor of the new dawn!

George Abrao. He was born in Jaguariaíva - Paraná, Brazil, in 1949. He studied at the Colégio Rio Branco in Curitiba. He currently resides in Maringá - PR.

He published nine books; he still has three unpublished books to publish. Organized and published Anthologies of short stories. He is currently organizing an Anthology of erotic poems.
