Extrañando a mi madre

El tiempo pasa silencioso

veloz

inexorable

inescrupulosamente apresurado

no se detiene en las esquinas

con el viento

ni se enreda

en los remolinos del deseo.

 

El tiempo pasa así

sin contemplaciones

mientras yo voy caminando

a gatas

por las veredas de mis miedos

con la mirada esquiva

de aquel que no confía

ni cree ya en los sueños

 

El tiempo pasa

y yo sigo aquí

anclada

al vagón de los recuerdos

esperando algún milagro

mientras pienso

 

        qué distinto sería todo

        con el cobijo de tus brazos

NELIDA MIRIAM ROBLEDO. Docente. Poeta. Escritora. Gestora cultural. Nacida en PALPALÁ, provincia de Jujuy, República Argentina. Autora de cinco libros de poesía, e integrante de más de quince antologías poéticas. Obtuvo premios a nivel municipal, provincial, nacional e internacional. Preside SURI Colectivo Cultural y coordina, actualmente, la 3ra. Expo - Coloquio "Pre-textos del solsticio" Argentina 2022. Su libro "Apalabrar mi existencia" obtuvo el Primer premio internacional de poesía libre "Freire Hopper Ior" en México en 2019.

missing my mother

time passes silently

fast

inexorable

unscrupulously hasty

doesn't stop at corners

with the wind

nor does it get tangled

in the swirls of desire.

time passes like this

unceremoniously

while I'm walking

on all fours

along the paths of my fears

with an averted look

of the one who does not trust

I don't even believe in dreams anymore

Time goes by

and I'm still here

anchored

to the wagon of memories

waiting for some miracle

while i think

        how different everything would be

        with the shelter of your arms

NELIDA MIRIAM ROBLEDO. Teacher. Poet. writer. Cultural manager. Born in PALPALÁ, province of Jujuy, Argentine Republic. Author of five books of poetry, and member of more than fifteen poetic anthologies. He won awards at the municipal, provincial, national and international levels. He chairs SURI Cultural Collective and currently coordinates the 3rd. Expo - Colloquium "Pre-texts of the solstice" Argentina 2022. His book "Apalabrar my existence" won the First International Free Poetry Prize "Freire Hopper Ior" in Mexico in 2019.
