Juntas hacemos Fotografía.

Nos interesa indagar sobre los diferentes discursos que circulan acerca de

la labor de la mujer fotógrafa como activista cultural, política o social, y el

valor social que su trabajo representa”.

Para nosotras mujeres y fotógrafas, es urgente una red que acompañe a la

visibilización del feminismo, el trabajo colectivo y el empoderamiento de

las mujeres dentro de la fotografía.

Queremos romper con el paradigma de la pasividad de la mujer al otro

lado del objetivo.

Repensando las condiciones y oportunidades que teníamos las mujeres en

el área fotográfica comenzamos a formar un grupo para ir confluyendo y

creando espacios para visibilizar nuestras creaciones.

Surge la necesidad de exponer, convocar, difundir e investigar el trabajo

realizado por otras fotógrafas.

Creemos que difundir y poner en valor el trabajo realizado por disidencias

y mujeres fotógrafas, así como apoyarnos para generar redes de

colaboración”.

Deseamos construir un espacio en donde podamos co-habitar y no

competir. Para lograr esto, pensamos que es fundamental ser sororas y

tener la convicción de compartir , por eso desarrollamos proyectos para

otras fotógrafas, porque nos interesa, sobre todo, aportar para que se

conozca la producción fotográfica realizada por mujeres en este

territorio”.

Together we do photography.

We are interested in investigating the different discourses that circulate about

the work of the woman photographer as a cultural, political or social activist, and the

social value that their work represents”.

For us women and photographers, a network that accompanies the

visibility of feminism, collective work and the empowerment of

women in photography

We want to break with the paradigm of the passivity of women to the other

target side.

Rethinking the conditions and opportunities that women had in
