Los invitamos a que conozcan a la artista en una pequeña entrevista donde nos habla de "Tiempo de Mujeres" el nombre de la muestra.
¿Qué es el arte para ti?
El arte para mí es un modo de encarar la vida, siempre pensando, imaginando, creando, buscando nuevos caminos o los ya conocidos pero con diferentes modos de encararlos. El arte para mí son las gubias, el olor a tinta, mis estudiantes con ganas de aprender, el espectador cuando carga de significados a cada obra. El arte para mi es mi ciudad, los colegas con los que comparto colectivos, las horas de trabajo en el taller.
¿Que representa esta nueva muestra para ti?
Ésta muestra para mi tiene un significado muy profundo, desde el concepto del tema de la misma…. TIEMPO DE MUJERES, hasta el desafío de ser una exhibición individual que hacía tiempo no preparaba, ya que comparto en estos últimos años el trabajo artístico con 2 colectivos de arte.
¿En qué te has inspirado?
El punto de encuentro es la mujer en diferentes etapas de la vida, adultas, jóvenes y niñas. La mujer acompañada de metáforas de reencuentro, de soledades, de unión. La mujer como centro de lo orgánico, de los aromas, de lo fluido del agua, de la limpieza profunda del interior, de lo universal de las miradas.
¿Qué técnicas has utilizado para tus obras?
El proceso técnico que une ésta exhibición es el grabado en relieve, en distintas matrices y materiales, como el poliestireno, linóleo, mdf, empalmados con gubias, tricantos y tintas, conectándose intergenéricamente con el dibujo a grafito y lápiz color.
En estos momentos tan duros de la pandemia… como a afectado tu lado creativo y profesional
Tiempo de mujeres comienza en el 2020, época complicada si las hay, pero que me permitió poner mi cuerpo a pensar, crear, discernir y a bosquejar. Es en esos momentos donde la bendita pandemia se borraba de mi mente, la idea acompañada de la gubia fluía y rasgaba soportes como si nada ocurriera en el mundo. Esto no significa que no tomaba conciencia del horror pero el arte me acompañó para poder aislar mi pensamiento y que la creación surgiera.

We invite you to meet the artist in a short interview where she talks about "Women's Time" on behalf of the show.
What is the art for you?
Art for me is a way of facing life, always thinking, imagining, creating, looking for new paths or those already known but with different ways of facing them. The art for me is the gouges, the smell of ink, my students wanting to learn, the viewer when he loads meanings to each work. Art for me is my city, the colleagues with whom I share collectives, the hours of work in the workshop.
What does this new sample represent for you?
This sample for me has a very deep meaning, from the concept of the theme of it…. TIEMPO DE MUJERES, even the challenge of being an individual exhibition that I had not prepared for a long time, since in recent years I have shared the artistic work with 2 art collectives.
What have you been inspired by?
The meeting point is women in different stages of life, adults, young people and girls. The woman accompanied by metaphors of reunion, of loneliness, of union. The woman as the center of the organic, of the aromas, of the fluidity of the water, of the deep cleaning of the interior, of the universal of the looks.
What techniques have you used for your works?
The technical process that unites this exhibition is the embossing, in different matrices and materials, such as polystyrene, linoleum, mdf, spliced with gouges, tricanths and inks, connecting intergenerically with the graphite drawing and colored pencil.
In these hard times of the pandemic ... how has your creative and professional side affected?
Women's time begins in 2020, a complicated time if there are any, but one that allowed me to put my body to think, create, discern and sketch. It is in those moments where the blessed pandemic was erased from my mind, the idea accompanied by the gouge flowed and tore supports as if nothing happened in the world. This does not mean that I was not aware of the horror but art accompanied me to isolate my thought and that the creation arose.
