CONOCE LOS SECRETOS DE PICASSO

Hoy te invitamos a conocer algunos secretos o curiosidades de uno de los artistas mas importante del mundo.

Pablo Ruiz Picasso (n. Málaga, España; 25 de octubre de 1881 - f. Mougins, Francia; 8 de abril de 1973), conocido como Pablo Picasso, fue un pintor y escultor español, creador, junto con Georges Braque y Juan Gris, del movimiento cubista.

Es considerado uno de los mayores artistas del siglo XX, participó desde la génesis en muchos movimientos artísticos que se propagaron por el mundo y ejercieron una gran influencia en otros grandes artistas de su tiempo. Incansable y prolífico, pintó más de dos mil obras actualmente presentes en museos y colecciones de toda Europa y del mundo. Además, abordó otros géneros como el dibujo, el grabado, la ilustración de libros, la escultura, la cerámica y el diseño de escenografía y vestuario para montajes teatrales. Era un hombre versátil conjugaba el arte con la política, la amistad y el amor. Nada lo detuvo para ir de pie por la vida. Desde muy joven demostró su generosidad y capacidad de trabajo.

En lo político, Picasso se declaraba pacifista y comunista. Fue miembro del Partido Comunista Francés hasta su muerte, el 8 de abril de 1973 en Notre-Dame-de-Vie (Mougins, Francia) a los 91 años. Está enterrado en el parque del castillo de Vauvenargues (Bouches-du-Rhone)

1. Su nombre era muy largo: El nombre verdadero del artista Pablo Picasso era Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Mártir Patricio Clito Ruiz y Picasso.

2. En una época hubo el rumor que Picasso era zurdo no era así , era diestro y pintaba sus cuadros con la mano derecha.

3. Desde muy pequeño comenzó con la afición a la pintura, tanto es así que su primera obra la acabó a los 9 años.

4. ‘La Rêve’ fue vendido en 2013 por el precio más alto por el que se haya vendido jamás una pintura. El dueño actual se llevó la obra a casa por más de 100 millones de euros.

5. Una faceta de las facetas desconocidas de Pablo Picasso era la de poeta, que sale a la luz una vez muerto el artista. Siempre pensó que sería más famoso por ser poeta que pintor.

6. Picasso y Guillaume Apollinaire fueron acusados por la policía de robar uno de los cuadros más reconocidos a nivel internacional, ‘La Mona Lisa’ en 1911

7. No dejó de comprar propiedades para llenar todas las paredes de sus casas con su arte, amaba lo que hacía y amaba sus obras.

8. Esta registrado en el libro guinness como el artista mas prolifero: creando 3.500 pinturas, 100.000 impresiones, 34.000 ilustraciones y 300 esculturas.

9. El Guernica volvió a España una vez finalizado el franquismo, ya que el artista dio expresas indicaciones. Fue recién en 1981 cuando Nueva York envió la obra al país natal del artista

10. Afiliado al Partido Comunista desde 1947, ganó el premio Stalin de la Paz en 1950 y el premio Lenin Internacional de la Paz en 1962.

Politically, Picasso declared himself a pacifist and a communist. He was a member of the French Communist Party until his death on April 8, 1973 in Notre-Dame-de-Vie (Mougins, France) at the age of 91. He is buried in the park of the castle of Vauvenargues (Bouches-du-Rhone)
