ARTE SOBRE LA PIEL
Pareciera que es una costumbre moderna la del tatuaje, pero no lo es.
Es una práctica muy antigua que ha sido adquirida por diversas culturas a través de los tiempos.
En el año 1991 en un glaciar ubicado entre Italia y Austria se ha encontrado un cazador neolítico de hace 5300 años, el cual tiene las rodillas y espalda tatuadas. En Siberia se encontró un hombre de aproximadamente 2500 años con tatuajes en el hombro.
En Egipto en la dinastía 2160 a 1994 ac se tiene registro de la existencia del tatuaje, una de las momias encontrada con tatuaje más famosa es Amunet, era una práctica muy común en las sacerdotisas.
Asia aproximadamente 1000 ac el tatuaje se introduce en India, Japón y China. En Japón era utilizada para marcar a los delincuentes. En América los aztecas se tatuaban imágenes de sus dioses.
En las islas Marquesas los tatuajes tenían un significado erótico y sexual en las mujeres quienes se tatuaban los dedos de las manos y las orejas
Los tatuajes que se encontraron en la Polinesia son mas artísticos, tienen figuras geométricas elaboradas.
En la actualidad el arte de los tatuajes tiene una gran diferencia con el arte tradicional de la pintura o el dibujo, el soporte está vivo, la piel es el paño de tatuador.
El tatuaje con el paso de los años, o mejor dicho décadas se
ha convertido en popular. Se ha logrado acercar a otras disciplinas artísticas.
Muchos artistas plásticos han incursionado en el arte del tatuaje.
Esta especialidad ha ido progresando, a raíz de tener que
formarse haciendo curso e involucrarse en las nuevas tendencias. Este cambio ha
sido a nivel conceptual como también técnicas, todos los limites se rompieron,
se ampliaron adaptándose a cada individuo, para lograr que cada pieza sea
único.
El sentido del tatuaje ha ido cambiando desde lo selecto a
lo popular. La moda y la publicidad han
adoptado la figura de rebeldía y de liberación.
La piel es el vínculo que existe entre la persona y el
entorno, refleja como lo ven los demás.
